Answer the Insurance Questions Before They're Asked

Every cyber-insurance application asks the same things: MFA, patching, backups, encryption, remote-access exposure. Netaxis assesses those controls across your devices, rolls them up to a clear per-client readiness view, and never claims a control passed when it couldn't actually check it.

What Insurers Actually Ask About

Netaxis maps each managed device against the security controls that drive cyber-insurance decisions, drawing on the same live security audit that powers the rest of the platform, then grades each control pass, warn, fail, or not assessed.

Instead of a self-reported questionnaire filled in from memory, each device carries an evidence-based reading of where it stands, updated from what the agent actually observes.

Multi-Factor Authentication & Password Policy

Whether the account controls insurers ask about first are actually in force on the device, rather than assumed.

Patch Compliance

Outstanding updates and their severity, drawn from the same patch data the platform already tracks per device.

Backup Validation

Backup status fed straight from Backup Monitoring, so the control reflects verified backups rather than a stated intention.

Disk Encryption & RDP Exposure

Whether data at rest is encrypted, and whether remote access is exposed in a way an underwriter would care about.

Evidence, Not Attestation

Six controls graded per device from what the agent observes, rolled up to a defensible per-client view.

Rolled Up Per Client

Device-level findings roll up into a single readiness picture for each client, so you can walk into a renewal conversation, or hand a report to an underwriter, with a defensible summary instead of a shrug.

Compensating Controls

A finding like "RDP enabled" is weighed against mitigations already in place, such as an IP allow-list or brute-force protection, rather than blindly failed.

Backed by Live Monitoring

Patch counts, backup status, failed-login volume and endpoint hardening come from the platform's ongoing telemetry, not a point-in-time form.

Report-Ready Output

Produce a clean, printable per-client readiness report you can use in renewals, client reviews, and internal risk conversations.

It Never Marks a Control "Passed" When It Couldn't Check It

This is the line most tools cross and shouldn't. If the agent can't gather the evidence for a control, Netaxis records it as not assessed, never as a pass. An untested control does not silently become a green checkmark. In an insurance context that distinction is everything: attesting to a control you don't actually have is how a claim gets denied. Netaxis is built to keep you honest, so your readiness report is one you can stand behind.

No false passes Not-assessed is explicit Evidence-based grading Defensible at renewal

What This Is, and What It Isn't

Cyber-Insurance Readiness is a preparation and evidence tool. It helps you understand and demonstrate your security posture against the controls insurers commonly require, and it assesses managed endpoints most deeply on Windows.

It is not an insurance policy, an underwriting decision, or a guarantee of coverage. It doesn't replace your insurer or broker. It makes the conversation with them faster, more accurate, and better evidenced.

Directions in active development. Priorities, not dated promises.

More Controls & Frameworks

Expanding beyond the core six to map against additional questionnaire items and common security frameworks.

Deeper macOS & Linux Assessment

Control evidence on macOS and Linux endpoints is lighter than on Windows today, and is being brought closer to the same depth.

Trend & History

Showing how a client's readiness improves over time, so remediation work is visible and reportable.
