Where it is, what's on it, and whether it's safe. Asset Tracking turns your fleet into a live, searchable estate: automatic classification, full hardware and software inventory, warranty enrichment, and, when you choose to enable it, location, geofencing, and Lost Mode. All in the same single pane as the rest of your RMM.
Every agent keeps its own profile current, so you never chase a spreadsheet again. Devices are classified automatically and enriched with the details that matter for planning and audits.
The agent identifies what each machine actually is — laptop, desktop, server, or virtual machine — and maps host-to-VM relationships, so your inventory reflects reality without manual tagging.
Laptops and convertibles are distinguished from fixed hardware, and physical hosts carry their child-VM hierarchy, so you can filter and group the whole fleet by device type.
Each device carries a complete, agent-maintained record: CPU, memory modules, storage, network adapters, BIOS and serial number, plus the full list of installed applications.
Warranty and purchase-year enrichment for major manufacturers means you can spot end-of-life hardware before it becomes an outage rather than after.
Classification, inventory, and lifecycle data on every managed machine, maintained by the agent instead of by hand.
Laptops leave the building. When you choose to enable location features, Netaxis helps you find a device and take protective action, without ever pretending to know more than it does.
Netaxis uses the best signal available — GPS where present, Wi-Fi positioning for street-level accuracy, and IP as a fallback — and always tells you which one it used. It never fabricates a coordinate.
Draw zones on the map and get an alert when a device leaves or enters one. Useful for flagging equipment that has left a site or region it shouldn't have.
Flag a device as lost to prioritize its location, sound an alarm, display a return message on the lock screen, and lock the session. Administrator-gated and logged.
Location tracking is opt-in and off by default. An organisation-wide setting is a hard ceiling that a per-device switch can only narrow further, so a device is never located unless someone deliberately turned it on for that device. Protective actions are administrator-gated and written to the audit trail.
Netaxis deliberately does not offer a full-disk or factory wipe. Irreversible actions don't belong on a dispatcher that also reacts to approximate location signals. Data-protection actions are limited and explicit by design.
Directions in active development. Priorities, not dated promises. Netaxis ships features once they've been proven in real production use.
macOS and Linux are managed alongside Windows today. Installed-software inventory is Windows-first, and is being extended to cover those platforms to the same depth.
Warranty and hardware-age data feeding refresh-planning and end-of-life reports across your whole estate.
Book a live demo and we'll walk your real environment through classification, inventory, and location, and show you exactly where the boundaries are.
